I may be picking up a set of OEM Recaro sport seats originally out of a 325is. They were used in a couple different cars since then though. My question is, can I swap my non-sport brackets over to the sports, or are they different?

Sport seats are not Recaro. BMW offered them, but it was a ridiculously rare option.
In either case, you dont have to swap anything. The sport seats will bolt on to the car with no problem.Erick Mahle | FullOpp Drift | YouTube

No shit? I always thought they were designed by Recaro - oh the internet; my personal cesspool of misinformation to weed through to get to the hidden gem of an answer. Anyway, I know the mounting points on the floorpan will be the same. My concern is the kid had them in a Honda and may not have the original seat brackets. Will my non-sport seat BRACKET mount to the bottom of the sport? I assume the sliders are a different part of the mechanism, and attached to the seat...Last edited by wagonizzle; 02-10-2008, 11:14 AM.Originally posted by chileelkyamaze about the enthusiasm e30 generateComment
