    Fixed rear side glass removal...

I have searched the archives and DIY areas on several of the e30 sites with no luck. I need to remove the glass to replace the headliner on my 1990 coupe, which I know will be a PITA. I have found how to remove the front and rear glass, but nothing for the fixed side glass. There doesn't appear to be a lock-strip on the side glass as on the front and rear glass. Would someone provide, or point me to, a step-by-step process for removal/replacement of this glass? TIA

I too have to be finding this out as well. I have not researched it as of yet. But I am going to do a new headliner along with paint and body work and these fixed 1/4 windows have to come out.

    SUBSCRIBED !!

Any input would be greatly appreciated ... TIA

Are you ditching the fixed style? We may need to chat. I'm ditching the openable type.

No I was just needing, as the OP is, to take them out to redo the headliner and for me to have the car painted at the same time.

I will look around though as I might be able to come up with some fixed glass from a buddy who has 10 or so e30's laying around for parts.

I too wish to sitch my opening ones. There is no real trick to the no pop out windows, you just get 2 people, one pushes from the inside while the other catches/lifts the seal to get the glass out. Take some soapy water and spray it into the seal, that will help too.
