Common misconception. BMW sport seats are in fact NOT made by Recaro.

Putting a Recaro logo on non-Recaro seats is as bad as putting an ///M3 badge on a 325i. But do what you want.

So what would you add, " BMW " emblem instead? I'm in doubt yet about putting RECARO or BMW, but one of those defenetly will go, you will see.

Now start to put pics Josh!! don't take the thread in other directions! :P ;)

There were some e30 sport seats made by recaro, but you can tell the diff betweent hose and the regular ones because the recaro ones have HUGE bolsters. And most E21 sport seats were made by recaro. I'd like to drop some Porsche seats in my e30 some day (also made by recaro).

                            these are mine:

hold really well, and real comfortable daily driving. IMO, if i were in your position, i would just get the seats reupholstered with bigger bolsters, and keep the 'factory' look. i think that would look cool. maybe get the ///M seat badges trimmed in, or something subtle.
