Finally got my new steering wheel in, a 350mm Personal Grinta. Doesn't block the gauges at all, but I have a bucket instead of stock seats.

So much better than the Mtech 1 I had - it was falling apart.

Victor wheel, bought it about 10 years ago, came with the boss etc. Has a nice BMW horn button etc. It's like a race style steering wheel underneath but has the bmw leather centre bit. All i know is that it came off an M3, not seen another one yet.:D

    1991--Righto! Then you'll also need you'll need a spacer (#4 -- http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...47&hg=32&fg=30).

Also, your SRS light will come on, but I'm sure it can be disconnected.

Mike, you will keep the same column surrounds.

His sig says he has a 91 318iS. They most definitely came with an airbag.
