Swapping an M-tech wheel for my Airbag wheel

    Hi,
Not sure this thread belongs here but ho well.

I am installing an M-tech I wheel in my car that has an Airbag wheel now.
Is it a plug and play or do I need to deactivate something, add washers, etc...?
Any help would be great, thanks

well once u take out the old airbag wheel, it cant deploy. So u dont really need to disconnect anything. the only thing i recommened is to replace the overhead check panel with an older one with no airbag light.

Need to add a couple of washers IIRC for turn signals

So, I basically put a few washers behind the wheel before i put it on? Should I use any type of washer big enough to fit on the column?

I did not think of the panel, that's right. I will have to find another one then.

        Thanks guys.

There's also a little white plastic spring-loaded piece that has something to do with the airbag that must be removed or jammed in. Otherwise you'll get a loud clicking noise when you turn the wheel.
