the 1 pc seal is better, cost me around $45 I think. Beats two pieces, plus better seal sinceit goes all-around.

I PM'ed my friend blunt. I went with OEM 2 piece. It, after all had that on it. My OEM 2 piece seals never gave me an issue in the past. So I am just going to do it again.

Just an FYI, the one piece (OEM) is the updated better version of the 2-piece, but it's your $ - :) it wraps around with no breaks in between

You cant get them new... You need to get lucky on ebay. They go for $550+ depending on condition.

BUT GET IN LINE... If anyone here has one I am looking for a MINT condition glass roof with all parts. I will gladly pay over market value for a good condition roof with lots of pictures. OR i can trade you my mediocre condition glass moonroof plus money for your very good condition one. ANY TAKERS? I am SICK of getting burned by ebay.

I'm wondering if anyone else has problem with the moonroof sliding back all the way? Mine gets stuck halfway and it's a bitch to slide it forward again, I wonder if the seal is the problem, thinking to peel the seal from my old sunroof and put it in the moonroof.

i just got the 2-pc deal from the dealer...its what was on there and it didn't leak, so i'll just replace it with the same.

anywho - I put the shade in today. It was cake. I just took off what I didn't need, and added the sunshade. It was a sticky greasy mess under the tracks (as it should be) - but other than that it was simple.

I am going to refinish the moonroof now - and then we will be as good as new!

Doubt it is a seal issue. Have you taken the panel off to see what is going on? It could be a easy as adding some grease! :)

When you retract the moonroof does the shade retract with it or do you have to manually slide it back...

Well do! I need to wet sand the frame and paint it first. Right now I just have it laying over the hole in the roof! ;)
