    Ensuring no SRS light/airbag functionality w/aftermarket seats.

    Going to be installing Corbeau Forzas in a 1991 318is. I assume E30s are like E36s in that there is a seat occupancy-type sensor to enable the airbag's functionality. Curious as to how I would either a. disable the light & functionality altogether after install, or preferably, b. get the system to work properly after the install.

    only seat belt sensor, nothing else. You should be fine. Just use the old buckle

      Sweet, I plan on it, thanks a bunch. Gonna have to find someone to make me a r3vlimited vinyl to run on the STS car for all the help I've gotten. Driving I've got, but learning idiosyncrasies of a new chassis is never easy, but coming from an OBDII E36, its much easier.
