This may seem like a stupid question, but can someone explain how to pop the old switch out and put a new one in? I have been trying for the last half hour and it won't pop out. I would push harder but I dont want to crack anything.

You have to unscrew the whole switch panel. You first have to take off the under dahs cover. Then once that is out, there are two 8 mm nuts holding in the whole light switch cover. Take those out, then the light switch panel will come out. Once it is out you can unclip the switch and put a new one in.
