so, i'm confused. Did the person in the UK (RHD) swap his HVAC for a US one (LHD), and now you plan to do just the opposite?

I am just giving you guys more ideas to used on your E30's alot of you guys have problems with indash LCd so this is a qucik fix I got the piece from UK .........

this eliminates the problem with hitting the cruis control stalk.
clever. I have a stereo like pull out like it also, but in a vert my top would be in danger of being cut open to steal the stereo.

i'd say go for it.
