Door sill... opinions?

Anyone got an opinion on how this would look in red?

I think it would be pretty cool. Although, you guys might scream rice, so I want to go with the consensus.

Also, where would you wire it up so it would come on when the doors are opened, and how hard would it be to install do you think?

I'd wire it up to the swich that controls the inside lights from going on and off while the doors are open and closed.

i think it would look pretty nice if the color could be matched with the amber illumination of the interior.

Except that "BMW" looks very non- authentic.

Okay, so overall, those door sills don't look very nice at all. I've been trying to find normal silver ones, but I've had hard times finding them.

any flashy door sill looks odd since its an area that its only purpose is to get dirty nad damaged. Spending money making it pretty is a lost cause.

The side gills on the new M cars look pretty good too. Doesn't mean all those ricers running around with them on their Civics and Neons look good. ;)
