He is talking about the little thing that lights up on the dash when you hit the fog lights.

true, seems like a shot in the dark. I was just wondering if anyone had some specific lead on these obscure parts.

              You mean this?

62 11 1 377 671, CONTROL SYMBOL LIGHT LEFT, ran me like $6.00 from Pelican 4 years ago.

Come to think of it i got one out of a 324d cluster. But if the strips don't cost that much, i'd just get a new one.

                    YES, exactly thanks so much!

On a side note does anyone have any idea how one might "tint" over the fog light indicator? I sometimes drive with my fogs on out in the country, and that damn light annoys me, screws up my night vision.

I know what you mean. That bright green light really stands out among the nice red/orange glow of the rest of the instruments.

                      Has anyone done this?

Why not do exactly that? Cut a small square of tint or the like and stick it over the fog light indicator square while you have the indicator panel out.

I was thinking more of a spray on tint. I just dont know how a piece of tint would bond or set in there. maybe though.

Someone did a cluster rebuild where they did exactly that, its on e30tech.com, in the appearance section.
