Water leak from the corner molding?

Alright, I have a water leak. I know this topic has been beat to death, but I only found information about a water leak that has come from the sunroof drains. I found that my drivers side water leak is coming from the trim behind the rear window. (I have a coupe) I think it's coming from the bottom clip, but I don't know how to fix it. I feel if I replace that lower clip, it wouldn't do me any good because it would just leak again?

    Anybody know? Thanks.

    is it a pop-out window?
are the 10mm nuts that hold the hinge portion of the window tight? is the rear latch of the pop-out adjusted properly?

    just a few suggestions.

No it's not quite the pop out window. It's the trim piece behind the pop out window. I will try to snag a shot of it today.

My car had/has a leak in the same area, I haven't figured-out how to fix it yet. I believe it is related to the trim piece behind the window. I looked at some parts diagrams and found a piece of felt-like material that installs in the vicinity, but I haven't tried to take anything apart.

i just gutted my car and removed all the trim...the piece is definately a separate item from the body of the car...on mine there is a piece of gasket-type stuff but it is pretty hard and coroded.

you will have to remove the chrome trim on the rain gutter from the clasp back and pull it off. is it easier if you remove the back window, which is pretty easy if you have the Bentley.
that little winglet pops off...there are about 4 or 5 grommets holding it in place. you just need to sandwich some thin weather stripping in between the c-pillar and the winglet and it should do it.

          hope that helps...

I might have this same problem, would this cause the water to leak into the area behind the front seats near the back seat?
