    Floormats and seat covers?

Do floormats always run around 100-120$ geez. its just cloth damnit! where can i find some good flloormats for a decent price!

on another note, does anyone make some fairly normal seat covers for e30's? I've got mismatched seats for the time being (until i find another interior) and to sustain some of the ugly i'd like to get some seat covers in there for awhile..

Bav Auto has a nice selection of floormats. I'd also check eBay (but beware of cheap products on there).

everything on bavauto is like 120$..

i guess thats alright, but it just seems weird when a set of rugs cost me roughly as much as a new seat or something.

I purchased a new set of embroidered (NLA) Lloyd's mats for $100 from someone locally. The thing about floor mats for BMW's is that if you try using off the shelf mats, they look like crap. They have to be custom cut in order to fit correctly. The Lloyd's mats even has an extension piece that covers the foot rest which is nice especially if you don't have a fancy M-Tech or AC Schnitzer foot rest. Spend the money and invest in a good set. If you can, try to get a set with a heel pad (I wore out my last set with a heavy heel digging into the mat).
As for seat covers, Bav Auto makes a slip on set that looks OK. I bought a set of factory cloth seat covers to replace my worn out seat vests. I've had those covers for close to 3 years and they look great and wear like ballistic nylon. In addition they are embroidered with the BMW logo, a nice touch!

if you dont mind getting rubber (all-weather) mats, they are pretty cheap from the dealer. I got mine for 50 bucks CAD.

Good point there. Factory rubber mats should fit perfectly, probably won't wear out and they certainly won't get stained (whoops there goes my Latte!).

Dealer. I got mine locally, but Pacific BMW has pretty decent internet pricing, about $63.00 a pair (appears to fit both E30 and most E36 models). Here's a pic from an E36 cabrio. They do not include covers for the headrests, nor rear seat covers, just the the front seats. You also have to specify sport or non-sport seats.

Anthracite is either black or dark gray (depends on whom you ask).
