    door panel plastic film

When I pulled off my door cards/trim panels, there was a 4-5mm thick plastic lining that was stucj to the metal panel of the door.

When I assemble the car back together, I'd like to re-install this thing for sound/moisture/etc. The dealer shows it as a roll of plastic....

anyone use any other alternatives? where can I get this stuff???

It's a moisture barrier, I had some clear poly in a big roll that I used. I cut it to shape using the trim panel as a guide, cut-out the holes and sprayed some 3M adhesive on it. You might check a True Value, Lowe's, etc.

Do not leave it off though. I've seen cars get filled with condensation because of the water getting in. Then there is the mold and having to go threw the trouble of drying everything out again.
