black headliner/houndstooth combo

Looks like it may be very difficult to source an OEM black headliner with a sunroof cut-out. That said, I could likely find a non-sunroof headliner and have it shipped over from Spain, then cut out a hole around the sun roof.

What do you guys think of getting a section of grey houndstooth to fill in the sun roof section of the headliner, to match my houndstooth interior? Do you think it would look tacky or could it work?

I think it could definitely work. I've been looking at redoing my entire headliner in black/grey houndstooth.
