Hats off to you - the lines are very nice - they look right at home.Originally posted by Matt-Bhey does anyone know anyone who gets upset and makes electronics? -

Is there enough depth behind the panel though to mount a speaker? There isn't much room behind those panels IIRCLast edited by CorvallisBMW; 08-20-2008, 12:16 PM.Comment

On a non-vert there is a ton of room - but on a vert - isn't the folding mechanism right there?Originally posted by Matt-Bhey does anyone know anyone who gets upset and makes electronics?Comment

I praise you on your innovative idea, but I'll be the first to say I dont like the look.
From a one dimensional front view angle it seems okay, but it bulge out quite a bit, in contrast to the original line. Esp the tweeter spot on the top, that will look very awkward.
it would look better if you just extended the whole piece outward and lose all the contour and keep the lines simple.
As far as the design of the e30, its all horizontal lines. Mainly horizontal or horizontal slant feel of the car, the box would make a distinct vertical line in the middle back of the car, making it a cut off feeling.
