Cloth ftw.
Leather seats are easier to clean though, and if they are heated they are ok in winter :)Mtech1 v8 build thread - https://www.r3vlimited.com/board/sho...d.php?t=413205

Put Huper Optik tint on all the windows and your heat/UV issues go away.
I have all 7 windows in my Audi Avant done and I have leather seats and a metal shift knob. Parked it in the open sun for a few hours in LA, opened the door and just sat in the seats and put my hand on the knob without fear of melting my skin off. That tint really does block that much heat from entering the car.
I plan to do the same with the e30 when I have time.

Leather has the longevity factor covered, and cloth is good for enthusiastic drivers who need to stay stuck in the seat.
Vinyl kicks both for ease of care.
I'm planning to buy Kevin's seat covers that are vinyl suede and get the best of two worlds.McCain's military draft: Are you willing to bet your life?Comment
