Can any body ID these adapters that came on a pair of recaros I bought ? Any idea what car they may fit ? Part numbers 4 9978307 and 5 9978307 and A.M.F. 9-91 stamped in to them but no luck with google. They came on a pair of 3rd gen LX-A seats I bought. Thanks in advance.

First off that is a recaro LX. I wouldnt pay a dollar over 300 because #1 they are used and the fabric they used on that gen is trash, #2 they are a gen 1 with the large ugly lower bolsters, #3 the color is hideous.

The only thing they really have going for them is the netted headrest ($100) and that they are from the recaro transam.

Check it out, I haven't checked if seat shocks are available NOS. The price is pretty high per shock, though.

Aw, didn't even notice your location. Yeah, no $50 shipped for you :p

Look for regular sport seat shocks. There are two per seat, and you pretty much have to break off a push-on washer to get them off. New washers are still available, iirc.

Regular sport seat dampers sort of work, but most are blown these days. I have an extra full set of 4. $50 shipped?

    Here's mine.
The black ass-napkin is just a towel pushed in so my rivets don't fuck the seats up. Actually looks good imo.
