    Experience with spray UV treatments?

First off are there spray on UV treatments? Do they do any kind of damage (ie change the color) to the treated areas?

I'm going to buy an el-cheap-o summit plastic seat and make my own seat cover of black headliner material. This will be the passenger seat when autoxing (for weight reduction-and you can't have passengers at bigger events) This won't be the prettiest but it won't be that bad. The material actually matches the Corbeau material pretty well..........For that matter, it may be a good idea to treat that seat too.

Won't it add like .5 oz. to the weight of your car?

Well those seats are only 12lbs. Aluminum brkts at maybe a lb. I wouldn't even cover it since it will be just an autox seat but rules require it be covered. FWIW guys used go kart seats on the passenger side as the rules used to state only needed to hold an adult. Now there is a height requirement.

This isn't a permanent seat so don't flame on how cheap, and/or gay it would look.
