I bought a 1 7/8 brass ball from Mcmaster Carr, Drilled a big ass hole in it and then 2 tiny holes and put set screws in them. It has some nice weight to it and is a good size.

mcmaster.com They sell all sorts of that shit. Aluminum, brass, steel. I just went with brass for the weight, and it seemed like a good idea at the time.
