    i wish i had heated seats. my arse damn near freezes and falls off every morning now.

        I bought my replacement seats from somebody who didn't know what the harness was for. They snipped them off and I have yet to rewire them up. :(

            can i just buy the heating element and stuff it in my seats or is this something i have to buy completely.... my two seats are in decent shape...

                You can buy just the heating elements and wiring, no need to buy different seats.

                The only caveat I can think of is that you'll have to buy the correct heating pads for your seat type. Whether it's horizontal stitched (m3/convertible) or vertical stitched (325is).

                    No heated seats in my 318ic. 318i must be low on the option food chain.

                                I'd like to know who did the work on your seats. It's one thing to re-cover seats & it's another to have them done the way yours look, i.e. OEM! Your seats (& the interior in general) look great. I want my interior to look that good. :up:

                                                    No. Found out since there was a plug hanging off from the seat. The PO swapped seats and they are in fact heated. so HA! ;)
