Best Shift Knob on the Market?

I'm sick of tossing my shift knob in the back seat when it flys off the stick...

So your opinion please What is the "Best Shit Ever" for a shift knob?

Or do I (Evolution Zen) have to make them myself?

ZHP knob is pretty damn sweet, but my OEM leather knob sticks on the shaft better than any other I have seen. I have an OEM viyl one on my coupe and it is always coming off when I hit 2nd but the leather one in my Cabrio sticks on there like it has superglue on it. Its a real PITA to get it off.

I'm going to go with the E46 ZHP weighted knob. 5 speed version costs around $60, I think. Mine's on a Z4 2.5 lever, and it is awesome. It's also about a cm shorter than other BMW knobs. Only pics I have are these:

Does the ZHP knob pop on like the original or does it have set screws and a collar or what?

Always been a fan of the Rob Knob "Magnum" (teehee). How the hell are you guys ripping off shift knobs?

                  Slamming into second or fourth...

The stock knob mounting can't take it.

Whalen Machine shift nob. I love this thing. Mechanically attaches itself. I got a plain brushed one.

How does it compare to Momo and Sparco Knobs? (not likely that you have experience with them all but just in case)

I had 2 momo ball knobs before, and the only thing I liked about it, was the shape. The 3 or 4 little securing screws were damn annoying. Always loosened up while driving etc.

This this is on there like its one piece with the shifter. The 18 oz doesnt hurt either. :)

I have one of the e46 ZHP weighted shift knobs. I definitely don't have to worry about it just popping off. Took me a good 2 tugs using both hands on it to take it off to put a new shift boot on.

i love my momo knob, it is short, covered in leather, and feels good in your palm.

the only pic i have of it

unfortunately, because it says momo, it costs more than it should. it is very good quality though
