    What's the best place/price to get the weighted zhp knob and a z3 or z4 lever? These aren't illuminated right?

            I agree that it doesn't match, but after using the shifter in my daily driver, it's just far too comfortable to not use.

              How do the weighted ones feel different? Just a more solid feel?

                More weight likely just means stronger in most cases, so when you press it it doesn't flex as much.

                I wouldn't consider weight too heavily in it.

                                UUC Evo 3 with a VSR Wildone knob Machined Aluminium, too cold for winter so using an OEM cheapie. This is in E36 M in the Alpine Weiss E30 M I have a Z3 2.8 shifter and ZHP knob like this set up, the Zinnoberrot M3 has a stock set up that needs rebuilding.
