I just got done shampooing my GTi Recaros and they look awesome, but the white Recaro embroidery is still pretty dirty, it didn't clean very well. Anyone know a good trick for cleaning the embroidery and getting it nice and bright again? I was thinking about using one of those Tide pens, but I don't want to risk doing anything to the fabric around the embroidery. Anyone have any ideas?

I wouldn't use a Tide pen (not the bleach pen, right?) I used a toothbrush and some upholstery shampoo on mine and it really helped.I just got done shampooing my GTi Recaros and they look awesome, but the white Recaro embroidery is still pretty dirty, it didn't clean very well. BTW, the "Recaro" logo on the grey VW seats is supposed to be red. They fade to pink/white over time.

You can use a fine point Sharpie to color it back in.Comment
