    TIghtening Dash?

Got a problem, hoping you guys can help.

The center of my dash, where the radio and A/C are is really loose. So loose that if you barely tap the dash, my CD player skips.

Is there any way to tighten this up. It's just the "inner plate" where the radio bracket and A/C controls are.

    Thanks

don't remember exactly but aren't there some screws under the center dash (right above the ashtray.) See if those are lose are missing. Had that problem a while back.

Since I'm back in Abbeville, might take a short drive up to Lafayette 8)

there are two screws above the ashtray in the big gaping hole there. Then if you remove those little switches on the top there are two tiny screws hidden up there too. That holds the whole faceplate on basically.

One thing you might check on the back of the ac unit there is a rubber clasp thingy that holds it to a metal rod behind it. I kinda supports and buffers the AC control from vibration. Mine disintegrated when I removed the center console so I got a medical rubber band and it works as well.
      Im now E30less.
