how do you remove the rear seat in a e3o

Pull up on the seat bottom on both sides to remove it. Then access the screw on each side of the seat back, unscrew both screws and it pulls right out.

Once the seat bottom is removed you should see them. There is one hex bolt on each side of the seat back. Use some common sense and you will see which bolt is screwed into a metal bracket that is going into the seat back.

unless you have an older e30. some have a bolt that holds the bottom down right above the trans tunnel.

bend the tabs back a bit when pulling out or you may rip the back door cards(if a coupe), dont ask me why I know.

Also note rear seat back is hooked on. You'll have to slide the seat up off the hooks and then you'll be able to pull it forward.
