Wiring a euro clock?

I got this from someone on unofficialbmw.com e30 forum:

I have the 318 etm and it shows a clock wiring diagram.
The connector should be available in the harness.

I show pins
RA4 with wire VI/GR lights power fuse #4
30 with wire RD/GR to dash for dimming
31h with wire BR/BK power to clock
31 with wire BR ground

I have a euro 325iX and it has a digital clock. ... . .. . :D
so i guess the digital aint us and analog aint euro just
two types of clocks ;)

The Analog clocks are not found all that often in the US and are pleasing to the eye. They work very well and they don't die which makes them a nice addition to your interior.

Sorry to bump such an old thread. But i put a euro clock in my 87 today and it was originaly a 13 button OBC car. I kept the 13but. harness and got some pins that slipped into the connectors of the 13OBC harness. And i also had to use the back of the 13OBC housing to mount the clock. Altough i forgot to write down what wire went were when i was installing it. But it does work in a US spec 13 button OBC car.

You just need power, ground and illumination and ground.. You can get that from a lot of places. I cut up my 6 button OBC wiring for mine.

Thats basicly what it was. brown to brown, gray with red to the same and i used a test light to find the power and light wires.

the best way to wire it up is to get the power mirror plug (female) it fits perfectly in the analog clock, just break one little tab.

Can you guys tell me which colour wire go where? I don't have the harness so can't go with the original colour wires. It has 4 pins in the back and are labelled: 30, 319, 31, 58k from left to right. Could you tell me which colour goes to which number?

Yes. But the harness still won't match.
