    Window roller broken

Im helping my cousin work on his 325iC and were running into a window problem. We though it was just off the track, but when we took off the door panel it appears that the rear half of the scissor mechanism to pull the window down has lost the plastic roller that slides along the track. I dont see how this item can be replaced, but was hoping someone had an idea or has run into this themselves.

Sorry if I missed it in the search, I searched for a while and only found a couple threads that were irrelevant.

If it's just the plastic slider it pops off of the window regulator (scissor thing) slide it off the end of the track that is attached to the glass and replace with a new "slider".

The bad news is that 99 out of 100 the regulator is bent all to hell and worn out and almost always needs to be replaced when this has happened.

The regulator is in good shape, and if I guide the window down with my hand it rolls all the way down. I can tell one of the arms on the regulator is bent slightly inwards, but I think I can repair it. I have been looking through realoem for the plastic slider that attaches to the window regulator, but I have been unable to locate it. Do you happen to have a link?

I purchased some sliders from an e36:

Unfortunately they are too big. I don't want to have to put e36 tracks on the window, so I am going to try to file them down a bit and fit them in.

I keep forgetting to get pictures of the e30 slider, will get them up here soon

These plastic sliders for the e36 do not fit the track for the e30's. for the time being I am going to try to sand it down to fit. Anyone else know of anything that might work? The e30 slider isnt a slider at all, its actually a plastic circle that is fastened to the end of the regulator and doesnt come off...
