The rear seats in a convertible are the same as any other e30 right? Some craigslist guy has got me asking this question..

No, they are not the same as other E30's. You can ONLY run Vert seats in a vert.
The difference is the vert seats are narrower and only seat 2 as opposed to Non vert E30's seat 3 and are wider by 1.5" on each side.sigpic...

Its pretty tempting isint it since verts have the same style rear seats as M3sYour signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.Comment

I dunno if this is true, someone may want to clear this up for me, but...
Apparenty you can run vert seats in a coupe if you swap the interior side panels to the vert type as well - this addresses the width issue.

Actually, the vert seats are not the same as the m3. The m3 center bumps are square, the ones on the vert are rounded.Comment
