So on tuesday during the day my heater was working fine. Went out for dinner and on the way back home I notice my heater doesn't work anymore. Not only that a few problems started showing up on my cluster. First off my cluster was working fine ever since I got the car, except for the fuel gauge its been broken when I took ownership of the car. So when the heater went bad, I notice the rpm gauge/fuel efficiency and radiator temp. gauge stop working. My speedometer and odometer still works.
I talk to a friend who suggested it could be the SI battery that just went bad. Is that it?
It was late so I didn't bother to tinker with the problem when I got home. So the next day I woke up and was on the way to work. I started the car and the rpm gauge work. It would move during idle and not more than 10 sec after start up the rpm needle would drop back to 0. During the drive to work still only the speedometer and odometer gauge work.
What should I do? Any suggestion on heater issue? Where should I start looking? Thanks guys!
