    e36 head unit in an e30?

    Is this possible.... if not, what do i need to do to make it work?

      HAHAHA..... :D thanks? but come on..... if you have a BMW thats your label whether you like it or not. So why not go with it?

          i dunno man.... from the look of it, i think it will fit nicely and give it a more clean modern look. I was jsut wonderin if it would be able to connect right and whatnot.

              more modern=out of place in an E30, at least from an aesthetic standpoint.

                Ok so if the z3 fits then they will all fit b/c i know that the head units on the e36 sedans are the same as the ones in the z3. What about the hook up.... will that give me a problem? Does anyone know?

                    The Z3 one will fit in the hole properly, but it's too long. It will stick out from the dash about 1/4 to 1/2 inch.
