    e30 dashboard cleaner

    Hi,

I have this yellowish glue stain on my dashboard from the previous owner. Since i am new to this e30 scene, i was hoping for any advice on how to remove this stain. My friends recommend me to have the dash board repainted but i think its the last option for me.

Try cleaning it with rubbing alcohol and a microfiber towel. Painting the dashboard is not a good idea; a better approach is to dye it. Paint will form a layer on top the vinyl that can chip and crack given enough sun exposure. Dye, on the other hand, will bleed into the vinyl to give it a richer color.

If it's glue residue I'd try Goo Gone.
