    Identify These Please

Ok, so I did some searching, perhaps not good enough, but I wasn't able to identify what stock headlights I have.

The car is a 1990 325i, which i was told came with either US ellips, or sealed beams. I think these are sealed beams but i want to be sure because im about to buy some US ellips so I can run HID's.

Took the first pic a second ago, 2nd pic was taken the day i bought the car.
    Thanks

Alright, thanks. So what kind of hassle am i looking at if i were to purchase US ellips?

All i know about them is:
US Ellipsoid headlights w/ "pig tails" (i have no idea what pig tails are)
They have been smoked using the thread on r3v as a guideline.
Replaced all the adjuster buckets and seem to work well
He says if it's sealed beam i'll need Mr. 325's plug and play kit.

With the info posted, what else will I need to take them from being outside the car... to being in the car working like a charm? I'm assuming i'll still need the HID kit w/ ballasts but what else?
