e36 guys, HID in M3

I got a set of HID's for my dads M3(95). They are from VVME 35w 4300k.

I am just wondering now if they will work proerly. I have heard that not all e36's came with the proper elips to have the hids focused properly. Can anyone give me a definitive answer on this? He currently has 9006 bulbs in his low beams so I figured it would be fine. Thanks

Don't really know, but 9006 bulbs came with caps on them so they might pose a problem for oncoming traffic if they are replaced with capless bulbs that will put out a lot more light.
