    ZKW e30 Foglights from partsbin.com

Anyone ever deal with these guys at partsbin.com?
They list "Direct FIT OE Replacement 1988-1991 BMW 325is foglights" manufactured by ZKW so they claim (ZKW is OEM correct?). They seem legit, till you click for a larger view. Note the shaved off numbers and logo on the back? Whats up with that? Are these legit or not? The price seems good from what I've found (vs Pelican for example).

    Thoughts?

Do you consult the internet for all of your shopping needs too? I was thinking about asking the forum for some insight so hopefully you wont mind collaborating. Im in the market for breifs that dont chafe but are also breathable, as my loins sweat a great deal. I found some hanes in a bargin bin at walmart but the SKU was ground off the back. Does anyone know if these are legit?

          Thoughts?

            ^Great answer, very helpful
I have a set of brand new, in the BMW box, ZKW fog lights and they have the part number on them. I think I remember seeing a ground-up part# on some other ones I bought, but later sold. Those other ones seemed 100% legit OEM too.
What kind of return policy do they have? Why don't you get a set and see for yourself? You can always buy from a known vendor though, and not have all the hassle.
Do you have your old ones to compare?

Cough... $153 each?!? I agree, at that price, I would think they'd better be genuine. I've had good luck with the eBay fogs and using LaminX on them. The combo last for a year or two since they're plastic lensed and get broken or start to leak, but only cost $40 a pair.

I do have my original lights w/ the part numbers on the back. I was just wondering why the numbers were shaved off the back at that site. Seemed kinda sketchy!

@ $153 each seems like a good price from what I have seen for ZKW's. have you guys seen new ZKW's cheaper somewhere? Everywhere I looked they were much more $$

                Thanks

you can usually price match with the more well known vendors.

try BMA or Bav Auto, i hear that they're pretty good with that.

Yea, I have priced them @ BAV ($ 229.95 /per side), Pelican (197.25/per side), and a few other places and they were much more $$$. that's why i was wondering about these guys @ partsbin.com. Seemed like a good price for "new" lights. I'm probably just going to get a used set with descent lenses.

                        Thanks for the reply!

I would contact them and tell them to pricematch partsbin.com see if they'll give it to you for $153 a pop.
