What bulbs are in the Hella Black DEs?

I think they are supposed to be H1s in both high and low
but I dont know what the city light bulb is
any help would be appreciated.
Id look on the box, but Im at work right now.
Couldnt find it with search or google.

It's a basic wedge bulb, a 4-5watt '194' will work fine.

$5 for a pair isnt bad
most places with the "LED" 194 bulbs want like $20+ for a pair :P

Near as I can tell they will all work. I have Cibie CSR so I want one that will reflect off the back, not just off the front. That's what I didn't like about LED brake lights. Plenty bright, but only in the bulb area, nothing off the car's reflector.

Difference is mine glows up the whole light and I like that (not saying I wouldn't like euro ellipsoids, it's just different) and I wouldn't want to just lite up a little spot. I am not sure if your city lights aim the bulb forward or not, that would be good to know before you choose which LED, wide or not. I think those LED's are more appropriate for ellipsoid than for the CSR's.

I just got superwhites
and I got superwhite brake lamp replacements (just for the in cluster brake lights... not for the always on lights)

No, it wont. It looks pink. We did it as a goof back in the day and it just looked pink through the clear lense. But if you want I do have the red bulbs still someplace I could send them to ya.

its has a higher dispersion rate
