    ZKW Foglights, only $92 Each

So I was looking at eap4parts.com and came across this:

This website is for sale! eap4parts.com is your first and best source for all of the information you’re looking for. From general topics to more of what you would expect to find here, eap4parts.com has it all. We hope you find what you are searching for!

Only $92 each for ZKW Fogs.

I would imagine that OEM is Hella or Bosch, but how do these ZKW compare to the oem quality?

    thanks!

ZKW bassically makes brand new OEM parts, at actual OEM quality. Most of the new lighting parts you'll order are ZKW manufacture. My turnsignals/sidemarkers are all brand new and ZKW- they are awsome.

PS, the ZKW fogs actually have glass lenses, not the cheap ass plastic ones.

Here's a tip: Don't waste your money, get HID + ellips and laugh every time the sun sets. 8)

Im getting HIDs already. I want fogs too. Mostly cosmetics reason. :D
But I want to be able to run fogs only during the day. Because having HIDs during the day looks stupid.

Do you have the Canadian DRL setup, meaning your low beams are on even with the switch pushed in? Have you done any independent fog mods?

I don't see why you need to have any lights on in the day at all though. Just the parking lights are enough for the DRL-trained Canadian drivers to see you.

                      Yep, Canadian DRL setup here.

I don't have fogs, but when I get it, im planning on doing the independent fog mod.

I don't need to have any lights on, especially since I have euro smileys with the city lights, but I just think that it looks good with just fogs/city lights on. :)

is that DRL setup a different relay or something more than that?

Yeah, I spent a lot of time trying to even track down the damn wiring diagram. I finally found the owner of a BMW specialist shop who said he has a copy of it somewhere, but once he saw it lost any interest in trying to defeat the DRL system. It's stupid complicated, BMW went way overboard in just trying to make a DRL system for our market.
