US hella ellipsoid tamper screws

    US hella ellipsoid tamper screws

    im planning on doing the smoked ellipsoid however they have tamper proof screws in the back, i heard i have to use needle nose pliers, is there any other way to get these off? i dont want to strip them..

    those are the adjusters, just pull on them the black plastic will either release the ball or it will break, releasing the ball. the plastic things are replaceable

      No, he's talking about the tamper-resistant screws which hold the ellipsoids together, not the adjusters.

      I used a pair of needle nose pliers, and it worked, but it's tedious.

        What style tamper proof are they? You can buy tamper proof bit from just about anywhere that sells tools. Harbor freight has a bit set:

          thanks! it looks like it may be a tri-wing tamper screw.. im gonna take the housing to a local shop and see if i can get the right bit for it. now.. i just need to find where i put those damn crosshairs!
