Since I drive into work a little after dawn, and get out just before dusk this is proving to be quite the quick commute so far this week trying to get back and forth with no lights. 
Anyway...
The car -- '87 325e, converted to US Ellipsoids using the same wiring as my '84 318. Has been working flawlessly for 2 years in the 318 and about 3 months in the 325.
Background -- Saturday, I replaced some of the junkier looking relays in the box with fresh ones. Lights were working fine before this. Went to drive the car Monday and noticed I no longer have headlights.
With the switch pulled out one position, the parking lights come on, as well the ones in the tails.
With the switch pulled out two positions (to where the headlights would be on), nothing changes. All the same lights stay on, however I do not have low beams, high beams, or fog lights.
I have no warnings in the Check Panel.
What I've replaced so far --
- Fuses 1, 2, 13 and 14 (none were blown, new ones didn't do anything)
- Tried several different relays (including the original ones I took out - no change)
- Tried another headlight switch - no change
- Tried different bulbs in both low and high beams - no change
- Checked connectors at the headlights, all are intact.
Am I missing something totally obvious here? All other electrical functions in the car seem to be working just fine and I am totally stumped at this point. Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated!
