some background info..
just installed H1 HID's in my low beams. they work perfect but i noticed that if i only pull the headlight knob out to the first position (for sidelights/parking lights) i get the bulb check light in the car and then the HID's wont fire if i pull the switch out to the low beam position.
what i want to know is can i remove the power supply to the switch for the HID's in that first position and just leave power going to the small 5w push in bulbs so as to avoid the check light coming on in the sidelight position on the light switch?
im guessing it should be a simple cut wire and cap off affair but what wire to the switch supplies the stock H1 bulbs with low power?
