I'm with Luke... new diffusers (MHW) would help.

BUT... I can tell you those are going to suck for daytime visibility. The LED signals I made use 60 BRIGHT (35000mcd?) 5mm LEDs per side and have good visibility. I had made one with 30 LEDs and it was not enough output in the sunshine.

I like the LED Idea..been wanting to play with that for a while..I think someone on e30tech and possibly here did a build on one..but I didn't follow it so I don't know how that went...

as far as smoked..I don't know if anyone saw the film I put all around ...visibility is great as far as lights go ... and smoked is nice when lights aren't on.

Exactly... mine are 4 rows of 15 LEDs per side.
