    Euro Ellips: Hella vs. Bosch

I know there are internal differences, is there any remote reason to choose one brand over the other? Talking about non-smoked, of course.

In theory the Bosch are made better. They also have the option of not having the smileys.
    Im now E30less.

hella's were also available with no smiley i think. the only reason chosing bosch is the quality. they are closer than the hella ones.

Mechanically they're basically the same - I really don't think you can say one is vastly superior to the other although most say the Bosch are better, leak less etc. (PS I have Bosch so I'm probably biased)

Wouldn't the Hellas be considered expensive new? So what do the Bosch sets run new?

I looked in the ETK and saw that the complete headlights not longer available. Both Bosch and Hella.

You can only buy the glas... price for it is ca. 50 euro. So 200 euro for all 4 glases but then you have also to buy the brackets, screws etc.

they are all the same! the bosch actually come apart easier if you want to take them apart to make them smoked. The word around the area i live in in germany would be the hellas are better-- and there is a huge bosch factory here-- hella makes lights and lighting equipment, whereas bosch makes everything.
