I was wondering why all the independant fog light mods are done in the relay panel? Cant some wires be crossed in the switches to get the same result? I dont like the idea of having wires under my relays.

inside the fuse box
if you were to SEARCH you would find a thread explaining all of it with pictures, that is how I did it.
P.S. I am not going to search for you or give you a link, find it on your own it is here-Andy

Man, Fuck you! I did search! I found lots of info and I found quite a few links telling me "how" to do it. Im not a retard. I dont like the idea of drilling a hole in my relay prongs and rigging me up a fire hazard under the hood! I read in one post he had issues if he pushed the relay in too hard. Sounds like more trouble than its worth.
If you were to READ you would find I was asking why this mod is not done where the switch is and not in the relay box.

Bro the only way I can do it was running 2 wires from the relays , 1 wire from k4 relay pin 30 and the other 1 from k8 relay pin 87 and connecting both to the original switch with a inline fuse , this way you can run the fogs even with the key out , I'l post some pics later (sorry about my english I from cuba)

People like to do the wire-between-the-relay cause for some reason, when it comes to wiring, they think their e30 is someday going to sky-rocket in value and they must keep it 100% factory.Originally posted by Matt-Bhey does anyone know anyone who gets upset and makes electronics?Comment

Mine is worth over 4 trillion already...in Zimbab dollars...
Seriously, why the attitude? If you do't like the answers already provided, pave your own path. Show us that better way!
Then, you can be cool and shit and edumicate us with a nice writeup.
Until then, don't be a douche.

And I bet his lights stay on with the key removed - urrrr.
Someday, Luke, Andy, or myself should do a guide on basic, basic electrical stuff. Just to get everyone on the same page.Originally posted by Matt-Bhey does anyone know anyone who gets upset and makes electronics?Comment

Yea, maybe when the weather warms up I'll get out the video camera, and show how to use a multimeter, and maybe a relay trick or to. Oh, and how to find wires and read wiring diagrams. That's the hardest thing to learn at first I bet.Originally posted by Matt-Bhey does anyone know anyone who gets upset and makes electronics?Comment
