    4 euro projectors with HIDs

So I am thinking about getting another set of euro lows and taking the projector cutoffs out and running a 55 watt 5000 hid in them to make hid projector high beams. Has anyone done this?

It takes A LOT of cutting and mocking to make it work. I tried it. The removal of the cut off plate really does open them up for some brightness. But the whole cutting up a euro light bucket really didnt suit my fancy so I scrapped the project. Still have the lights though.

try it and if you make it work, post pictures of the work and the finished project.

Removing the cut offs was not enough to make it a functional high beam? What needed to be done in your opinion to make them a better high?

Wouldn't do HID highs. Can't flash your lights anymore.

True. I guess I will just get crazy bright high beam bulbs.

You can get rally bulbs (not street legal) that are like 100w. I have some in H4 euro lights on my old benz and they are just as good as HID's. The wiring and metal reflectors on the benz can handle it, but I definitely would not run anything hotter especially for long periods of time.

My sister was driving the car and gave me the brights at night from the rear and it really motivates you to get out of the way. Also, living a rural area they offer a ton of light for safer night driving on demand.
