5 series ellips.

i need to replace my ellips. and heard you can use the 5 series ellips.

my question is if im still going to have to find a bracket from an e30 for the ellips??

Yes, the E34/E32 lights need to be put into E30 brackets, not sure if you need to change the buckets too.

Do you have the lights? I should have everything else in my shed cause I swapped my lights out with a complete set of smileys, mine are even ellipsoids, they just need new lenses.

well i was in an accident. so my driver side was completely destroyed...
i could find the lenses/lights if needed. do you have the bracket?

I'll look tomorrow, and PM you pictures. Same thing happened to me, it took months for me to get another lens for my smileys.

E34 elipsoid lenses are interchangeable with E30 lenses. The entire bucket is different, but if you just need a lens, they swap over without issue.

E34 ellipsoid headlightlight housings (us or euro) DO NOT FIT in E30 brackets. The mounting tabs are not the same.

because i went today to the junkyard. and still no ellips. (i cant afford to buy it from anywere else)
