noob HID question

sorry for the noob question but i am fairly new to the e30 scene so excuse my noobness xD. im plannin on getting a DDM HID kit. i have stock headlights on my 89' 325i. ive seen some people getting H1 bulbs and some others saying 9006 bulbs which makes me confused so if anyone can clarify this for me this would be greatly appreciated. thank you and Godbless
