    Apexcone raptor kit for late model HIDs

    Hey r3v,

    i was lookin to get HID foglights to match my HID lowbeams and was looking at the DDM apexcone raptor kit mainly because it was alot cheaper. do you recommend using the apexcone raptor kit for the fogs? thanks and Godbless

      I don't know much, but I hear people get the other one just for the better warranty.
      I'm planning to buy a set once I get other things addressed first.

        Its the same warranty, I think the ballasts are just bigger.

            No difference except for the size which limits the places you can put the ballast to make a fresh look. If I were you, I would get the slim ballast. My experience with DDM is a turbulent one.. Ive had to return bulbs and ballasts three times to get the right one. They are willing to help and trade bad bulbs or ballasts for new ones but simply put, I do not trust the raptor kits..

                I have raptors in both my low beams and my H3 fogs, both have been holding up great with no issues.

                  I have a regular DDM hid kit in my lows that i've had now for nearly a year. It has worked flawlessy, and I've never had an issue. Recently purchased one of the raptor kits for my high beams(retarded yet still awesome) and also haven't had an issue yet either. Next purchase will be another raptor kit for the fogs I recently purchased. I have way too much HID lighting haha.

                    xD nothing wrong with too much HIDs! haha! yeah i have ddm hid kit in my low beams 35w 6ks but just looking for some fog HIDs and kinda just for show :P so i saw the raptor kid for 30 bucks i was all hmmmm cheap upgrade. was just wondering everyone else's input :)
