They all come from one place. China, so the cheapest ones on ebay will be the ones to get. Although quality is a hit and miss with them. So you may get a set that don't leak, or a set that will leak and fog up when it rains.

I don't know where the other guys with BMW's get theirs. But the ones for e30's are all the same, like the ones you posted up there. But those black ones there, the high beam is usless cause the reflector is painted black! lol. I had a set in my first e30. Frankly the light out put sucked in the low and high beam (mine was the chrome ones). HID's may of helped in the lows. But after i found out about stock projector lights from the factory. I got a set of euro ellips and sold the angel eyes.

They take H1's. I had silverstars in mine. Still sucked. If i get another e30, i may just keep the stock sealed beams. Although i do love the look of smilies and HID's!

You could get CCFL angel eye rings and put them into a euro ellipsoid housing..
Then you have custom angel eyes with less flaming from all of us, and they don't look completely rice.

I've seen this executed very well before, looked nearly stock.

What headlights do you have now? If you have ellipsoids buy your light rings for 50 bucks off ebay just put them in there. Otherwise you will have to find someone selling their used ones cheap if you wanna keep it under your 150 dollar mark.

Theres a few pairs of used ellipsoids in the for sale section 120-130 shipped so you will probably spend 200 bucks total about 170 for the lighting stuff and 25 bucks or so for silicone and whatever your going to need to wire it up.
