Jay the EXACT same thing happened to me, one day last year i was just driving along, I stopped somewhere.. someones like dude what happened to your headlights? I looked, and BOTH of them were cracked right across the light. They also were the Hella H4s.. strange. Ah well, onto better things now, using the US Ellips with Silverstars.

Weird man. Guess I won't be recommending them for those in the snowbelt anymore. I mean 8 years for me wouldn't seem too bad, but if it happened to you and Nick too, that's just poor quality.

Hella USA told me to claim it through the store I bought them from. Looks like that idea didn't work. :x :P

Had you removed/replaced the rings around them anytime recently?

Maybe the rings were put on too tight the last time.
        Im now E30less.

Nope, haven't touched them in around 10 months (last time I changed the bulbs).

Nick, you're evil. But that is tempting.

One of mine is cracked too, same w/ my dad's e30. I think it's from driving on the highway and those damn lil rocks that other cars kick up. It's been cracked for more than a year and I'm still using them :).
