Beater gets new Hella fog lights

Spent some quality time with the beater this weekend, just some smaller jobs while waiting on deliver of the timing belt kit.

The OEM Hella fog lamps and surrounds were rusted, and beat. I didn't take a picture of them mounted, but here's as they sit now:

The original plan was to refub these, and I may still get there, but the condition mean that will be another day.

I had a set of Hella 500's in the garage, so I decided to mount and wire them up using the oem location.

I have to say I prefer the chunky style of the oems, to these round Hellas, particularly in a location under the bumper. But I'll rock these for a while and see if they grow on me.

And yeah I'm 100% missing the font valance, I've got a nice DB Zender piece I'm refurbishing in the garage for next weekend. ;-)

i have 4 of those, wondering how i am going to install them on my 89 and they are much brighter than any lamp. i used to drive up behind friends with four mounted on top of the bumper in my prior cars and blind em... that always was fun.

yeah, they are plenty bright. Still not sure on the 'look'. I mounted my zender valance last night, and now the lights block that so hmmmm.

Honestly, those look terrible hanging under the bumper like that. They look pretty decent on PB cars mounted above the bumper (like with kamotor's kit). If you're going to put something under the bumper, make it something rectangular like 550s.
        paint sucks

Holy Frak! Is that your sig???? If it is, could you down size it. It's a great looking car, but the picture is just huge.
